(Somali student opinion)
Trump or Clinton: The leader of USA and the world.
The president of USA after hours will be elected.
Can many countries do the same?! What they get to loose.
Here in horn of Africa we’re watching news as the ballots
paper of public USA states drop in the boxes.
Discussed several times in classes last few days about the
USA elections, yet there’s no dominant idea neither they totally support one particular
part.
Many of my fellow students in the universities sided with Mrs.
Hillary Clinton and few with Mr. Donald
Trump.
Contradiction is the nature of democracy and free society.
In Somalia where democracy seed shoot is about booed out after
years of war and terrorist, students got chance to express freedom of speech
inside universities campuses and dormitories.
Despite rarely discussing inside Somali local election which
about to take place in November 2016, they hoped to see one man one vote
instead MP personality electing the president.
Many people said Mr. Donald is ant of immigration and hard
with some countries, Mrs. Hillary is too slow to progress.
We’re thinking and talking about democracy and freedom to
vote.
